Unadvertised Las Vegas Offers: Venetian/Palazzo, Tropicana, Cirque du Soleil

If you're looking to book a trip out to Vegas in the near future to take advantage of the summer, there are a number of deals available.

Here are some great lodging deals, which are not publicly advertised, that everyone can take advantage of:

• From $129 on weekdays and $179 on weekends, The Palazzo is offering 2 tickets to Phantom with a 2 night minimum stay. The following is also included in this offer:

  • 20% off bill at Restaurant Charlie
    
  • 2-for-1 drinks at Salute Lounge
    
  • $50 off any spa service 80 minutes or longer
    
  • $25 in slot credits
    
  You won't find this deal publicly advertised on The Palazzo website, so book online here or mention offer code EPXPOTO when calling-in (calling-in adds $10 to the price per night, so I recommend booking online). See the website for available dates, and rooms must be booked by July 13 to take advantage of this offer.
  
  
• If you're just looking for a room and don't want any extras, rooms in the Venezia tower at The Venetian are available at $109 on weekdays and $159 on weekends. Rooms in the main Venetian tower and The Palazzo are also available at slightly higher prices. You must call-in to 888-868-0282 and mention promotion code CAIAVC to get these rates, which were negotiated with a local asian television channel in Los Angeles. These promo rates may expire at anytime, and a 2 night minimum stay is required.
  
  
• If, on the other hand, you're just looking for a room and want the cheapest rates on The Strip, rooms at the classic Tropicana are available for as low as $29.95 on weekdays and $59.95 on weekends; just call Tropicana at 800-545-4989 and mention code DBFF709. This offer is valid July 1 through September 30, 2009.
  

And, if you are going to Vegas and want to catch a show, the quintessential Vegas show is Cirque du Soleil, with 6 shows permanently playing in Vegas. The following offer is advertised, but, in case anyone wasn't aware, Cirque du Soleil is offering a buy-one-get-one-for-$25 ticket sale for all 6 of their Vegas shows to celebrate their 25th anniversary. This kind of offer is unprecedented for Cirque tickets and can't even be matched by the half price ticket outlets (as Cirque tickets are never fully discounted the full 50%).
